A Leg Up

1 04 2009

We are nearing the end of the NBA regular season – and people in LA are already starting to double their Xanax intake. The Lakers have already clinched their playoff spot – and even with the 2nd best record in the NBA – the Lakers need to finish these last 8 games strong.

Wouldn't you?

Wouldn't you?

Nothing instills confidence in fans by losing to 2 in a row –  to Atlanta and Charlotte. Lets hope tonight they can fend off the Bucks – Jesus – the BUCKS, c’mon.

Are the Lakers reliving the end of the 2008 season? Finishing a strong season weak? No – there is something else vaguely familar from last year – the absense of Andrew Bynum. Bynum is recovering/rehabbing from another knee injury that sidelined him in the middle of the season.

Groundhog's Day?

Groundhog's Day?

In his press conference last night, Phil Jackson said that he thinks that Bynum should return for a regular season game – that gives him 2 weeks. Let’s hope that the case. The good news is that it appears he’s has been getting plenty of leg lifts in at the Playboy Mansion.
